Data sources

Every widget type declares a WidgetDataSource ('resource' | 'aggregate' | 'none') that controls which resources it can use and how the wizard behaves:

Data sourceRequirementNotes
resourcedashboardEnabled: true and a list viewregular list endpoint; simple-aggregate computes count / min / max from it
aggregatedashboardEnabled: true and aggregateEnabled: trueaggregate endpoint; supports count / sum / avg / min / max and groupBy
noneno resource neededthe resource step of the wizard is skipped

Both flags come from the resource's entry in the service schema; the backend decides them. Only a paid backend sends either, so habarico-enterprise types them on DashboardResourceSchema rather than on the free GlobalResourceSchema.

caution

dashboardEnabled gates both data sources. A resource with aggregateEnabled: true but without dashboardEnabled backs no widget at all — and when no resource opts in, the type step of the wizard offers nothing and says so instead of showing an empty list.
